Following the leak of question papers in Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OTET) on January 16, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Friday decided to conduct the exam online. The examination will be held after the matric examinations, informed the President of the board Jahan Ara Begum.

The examinations which were cancelled due to question l paper leak on social media will be held online. The examination will be held after the completion of the annual High School Certificate examination and further information on it will be given on the website,” said Begum.

OTET exam on January 16 was cancelled following allegations of question paper leak in the social media that caused strong resentment among the candidates. As many as 1.2 lakh students had appeared the text in 250 centres across the state.

Begum also pointed out that class-X students who will appear the board examination can download the admit cards from the official websites of the board www.bseodisha.nic.in from February 8. (News source)
